Weekend Hashtag Project: #WHPtravelogue
The goal this weekend is to make photos and videos that re-create the experiences of traveling — like this multi-image post from Sam Vox’s (@sam.vox) journeys. “I’m the guy with the camera and notepad ready to learn about people,” says Sam, a photographer who travels throughout Tanzania. “When you talk to strangers you meet on the streets or on the train, some share the most touching stories, and you find yourself opening up as well to them, sharing your own life story in a way you never thought you would. That really teaches you a lot about yourself.”
Here’s how to get started:
Tasty specialties, lively characters or singular sights — whether you’re going far from home or just down the block, what do you connect with in a new place?
Observe the traveling that may be going on around you, like passengers boarding a ferry or a flock of birds migrating.
Combine multiple videos and photos in a single post to share the story of a weekend trip.
PROJECT RULES: Please add the #WHPtravelogue hashtag only to photos and videos taken over this weekend and only submit your own visuals to the project. If you include music in your video submissions, please only use music to which you own the rights. Any tagged photo or video taken over the weekend is eligible to be featured next week.
